“When I first saw these ledges, I envisioned photographing them under a cloudy, monochromatic sky with the right tide to slightly cover them, so that they would look like water tablets. On a day when the sky and the tide looked perfect for my purposes, a long exposure of about one and a half minute allowed me to create the image I had in mind.” – Vieri
